The platform

One robotic mark. The whole course, handled.

Sentenal replaces traditional buoys with a self-navigating mark you can deploy, position, and move on demand — bringing dependable autonomy to race management while staying deliberately simple to run.

How it works

From dock to start line in four steps.

01

Launch

One or two people assemble and drop the fleet in from shore, dock or RIB.

02

AutoNav

Activate AutoNav and the fleet drives itself to the course in an orderly line.

03

Set

Each mark holds station within metres, holding the course precisely.

04

Reposition

Shift the whole course, or any mark, in under two minutes as conditions change.

Autonomy

Autonomous fleet navigation

Place the Sentenals in the water and activate AutoNav. The system reliably drives them from the marina out to your pre-determined positions and holds station — you stay in full control without towing markers or chasing position changes.

  • AutoNav from marina to course
  • Holds station within metres
  • Orderly fleet line, no support boat
  • Live Stop and Slow controls

Repositioning

Reposition in under two minutes <2 minutes

As the only marks on the course, Sentenals deliver total consistency. Reposition the entire course — or a single mark — quickly and precisely, keeping everything aligned when the breeze shifts or you run races back to back.

  • Whole course or one mark at a time
  • Under 2 minutes, vs 10–30+ traditionally
  • Stays aligned through wind shifts
  • Back-to-back races without delay
Safety

Safety built in

Swimmers and crews come first. Protected thrusters minimise the risk of contact, and redundant navigation, power and communications keep the fleet predictable when conditions turn.

  • Protected thrusters reduce contact risk
  • Safe corridors with Channel Control
  • Redundant nav, power and comms
  • Fault-tolerant when the weather turns

Stackable Sentenal units for storage and transport
Practical by design

Simple, modular, stackable

Sentenal comes in 1 meter, 1.2 meter, 1.5 meter and 3 meter hulls — with a 4 meter in development — and is built to be lived with: modular assembly, quick part swaps, and a stackable shape that makes storage and transport effortless. Interchangeable top covers, in a range of shapes and colours, swap in seconds to suit any conditions.

  • Hulls in 1 meter, 1.2 meters, 1.5 meters and 3 meters (4 meters in development)
  • 60+ hours runtime per charge (tested)
  • Stackable for storage and transport
  • Interchangeable top covers — multiple shapes & colours
Software

Software that runs the whole fleet.

Fleet home

Every Sentenal at a glance — name, battery, and online status. Add or remove bots in a tap.

AutoNav

Set a path and fleet, and the bots move together from marina to course, no support boat.

Layout mode

Build and adjust race courses on an interactive map, assigning marks to roles in real time.

Channel control

Set safe corridors the fleet follows, avoiding boats, moorings and hazards on the way out.
